Last 4th of december, software developers came together to build, improve and release their applications based on Montreal civic informaiton.
As a follow-up to the successful event, we would like to invite you to participate in the second edition of the Open-Data Hackathon in Montreal, which will be held Saturday January 29th, 2010 from 10 AM to 6 PM. The event will be hosted at the Notman House (51 Sherbrooke West). The Projet Notman is a brand new hub to foster web entrepreneurship and innovation in Montreal. We are very proud that the Hackathon will be the first public event at the Notman House.
Whether you are a developer, city employee, or curious citizen, come meet other Montrealers who are passionate about open-data. Help the developers invent and build new applications around Montreal’s civit information.
The stars of the Montreal open-data scene will be there. Amongst them, the creator of Resto-Net.ca, PatinerMontreal.ca and many more. The Montreal Ouvert team will be present to welcome you, introduce you to the projects and anwser any questions you might have.
